Projects & Resources
We have a number of projects going right now, all of which are related to the work we do with song-to-seed. Additionally, over the years we have created some resources for seed saving. Print them off for your local seed library!
BObby McMillon Legacy
A significant project we have been working on is Bobby McMillon Legacy. Sheila Kay Adams, Rodney Sutton, Mars Hill University's Ramsey Center, and I have been working to digitize and organize Bobby's collections and recordings in order to best make them available to the public. Bobby was a singer and storyteller with a vast repertoire and understanding of old songs and mountain culture, and it is important to us that we (as he would say) "Keep it a-goin." You can find out more on the Bobby McMIllon Legacy page.
Ray Dellinger Memorial Garden
This page is in honor of my mentor and dear friend Ray Dellinger, who jerked me by the hair of my head into old-time music and everything Appalachian. Every year I dedicate my garden to him.
