SONGTOSEED

Songs

Music is one of the key ways that we educate communities about the importance of seed saving--as a means of tradition keeping, preserving genetic diversity for future resiliency, and ensuring that the food we eat contains the right vitamins and minerals to keep us healthy.

Check out William's song "Greasy Beans" below to get a taste (pun intended) of the ways that music can accompany and encourage this important work. While you're at it, you can listen to William's episode of the Life in the Carolina's Podcast. It's all about seeds and songs!

Lastly, if you'd like to schedule one of our musical presentations, contact William via our homepage. Please note that the sliding scale rate for our typical hour long presentation is $50-$100 (travel stipend not included). Online presentations are also available.
