Video of Bobby McMillon performing songs on guitar, banjo and vocals. McMillon plays songs learned from his father's side in Cobb County, Tennessee and his mother's side, who was from Mitchell County, North Carolina. The songs include ballads learned from his aunt in eastern Tennessee between 1905 and 1916, as well as ballads passed down from other family members. Songs include Dickie and Johnson, among others.

I get a little tickled on this one, because Bobby slips up in "Dickie and Johnson" and calls the naked woman a "cruel woman" before he's supposed to. She hasn't stabbed anybody yet! Always encouraging when a master artist makes mistakes too!--Wm
